As Director of Christian Wyatt Group, Joe Souder provides professional level, director level and C-Suite search services to community banks, regional banks, credit unions and financial service companies across the country. With more than 20 years of industry recruiting experience, Joe is renowned for his industry insight and uncanny ability to find the top-tier talent his clients need to remain competitive in an ever-evolving landscape.

Since joining Christian Wyatt in 2020, Joe has successfully conducted searches for small and mid-cap public and closely held private financial institutions in multiple disciplines including risk, compliance, audit, operations, technology, lending, credit, finance and accounting. Within these areas of discipline, he has assisted countless clients with searches for Chief Operating Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Compliance Officers, Chief Credit Officers, Chief Lending Officer roles as well as Manager and Director level reports within these functional areas.

Prior to joining Christian Wyatt, Joe spent over ten years as Manager of the Banking and Financial Services practice for Management Recruiters of Atlanta-Lanier and eight years as Partner at the Barrington Shephard Group. Joe has based his career on putting clients and candidates first. “Doing the right thing” for his clients and candidates may sound like a cliche, but it has played a key role in developing a rich network of relationships that accept no shortcuts or substitutes.

Joe lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife, Kari, and three children. He enjoys hiking, working out, traveling, golf and watching college football.
